Frequency Table Analysis SAS Tutor and homework help are required for all Students entering the intermediate or advanced levels of Statistics. Frequent Table Analysis enables students to identify meaningful patterns in the data itself.

A recurrent analysis reveals common patterns in the same way as a frequent analysis. Frequent Analysis allows students to focus on important data that may not be as easily perceived. Frequent Analysis is also called Venn, Colon, Rectangle, Tri-Colon and the Flatland Theorem.

Frequencies: Frequencies are functions that vary over time or in different forms. Frequencies give you a beginning or end point, and are related to time and frequency.

Frequency Table Analysis can be done at different levels and in different ways. This can include Normal or Log Normal Frequencies. Frequency Tables of a particular variable can be selected to find the correlation between two variables. By clicking on the Data series you will get a list of columns for that series.

o Log Normal Frequency table: The first step in frequency tables is to select the series you wish to look at and click on it. Now the next step is to click on the F and then on the scale – e.g. scale = x-log.

o You will see a list of columns. In the column that has x-log, the x-log is put on top of the original scale. This is because log scales depend on the number of degrees of freedom.

Frequency Table Analysis can be used to control variables by typing the range into the Frequency and then select one you want to change. You can then change the range on the series that you want to control.

o Frequency Table Analysis using a Frequency Table: A Frequency Table is a stack of frequencies with value assigned to each frequency. It is then clear to see if the two series have the same value.

For example, if you have two series: x and y, x-y series would have values on the horizontal axis, and y-x series would have values on the vertical axis. If you want to control the x-y series to have values in the range that is between those of x and y, simply select the x-y series and click on the Y Scale drop-down.

Then select the X Scale (you can use the labels: x-delta, y-delta) and then click on the Calculate button. Then click on the Range link in the left column and type the range and click on OK.

You can then change the x-y series to have values in the range that is between x and delta. Then choose the X and Y Scale on the left column, and then click on the Calculate button and the option of the selection is the y-delta series.

To convert the x-delta series to delta series use Frequency Table Analysis: Select the x-delta series and then enter the range, then click on the next step on the right column. Then enter the delta value into the y-delta Scale, and then click on the next step on the right column.
